Case history
Wine and Tobacco
Ristorante Luce (Berna, CH).
In this restaurant, a panoramic wine display case (with four glass sides) at three different temperatures, model “WineLine C,” was installed to function as a dramatic, showcase-style dividing wall between two areas. Inside, stainless steel and plexiglass shelving was incorporated to display the bottles vertically and at an angle, as per the client’s request. Additionally, custom swinging “full glass” doors were made with double glazing and a glossy gold-painted edge.
A further enhancement to this project was the addition of a custom-made “Havana” model module, a plug-in unit for cigars, featuring cedarwood drawers, amber LED lighting, and a glazed swinging door with a wooden frame.

Pastry and Chocolate
Pasticceria Chiara (Verona, IT).
This refrigerated display case was installed in a location where the client’s need was to preserve the displayed products in the best possible conditions while also having a functional counter with a light and minimalist design.
We proposed the “Easy” model display case with humidity control (specifically for chocolate and pralines), connected to the “Tecno Alta” model tank (designed for fresh pastries), customized in size and featuring a tempered ultra-clear glass structure bonded with UV adhesive, equipped with an anti-condensation system.

Charcuterie and Cheese Shops
The back counter was equipped with a series of “Nettuno” model wall units with sliding double-glazed doors, black matte painted profiles and frames, and refrigerated cells underneath, complete with large drawers and stainless steel doors with recessed handles.

Snacks and Sandwiches
Bar alla Stazione (Marostica, IT).
For this project, we were asked to create a custom-made snack display case that could ensure uniform temperature throughout the entire interior, with good insulation for the glass enclosure and a neutral top section for displaying croissants. The “Manhattan” model perfectly met the requirements, as this display case features a UV-bonded “box” glass enclosure (patented by MG&MD), which adds elegance to the refrigerated unit while also providing low thermal transmittance, effectively preventing condensation on the glass.
To complete the bar’s furnishings, TN modules (for beverages and food), a Coffee module, and a Cocktail module were incorporated into the counter, all elements made entirely of stainless steel.

Butcher Shops and Fresh Pasta
Macelleria Agnoletto (Bologna, IT).
The Agnoletto & Bignami butcher shop and deli is located in the heart of Bologna, a historic establishment where, in addition to carefully selected meats, customers are offered a wide variety of gourmet delicacies and high-quality, handmade fresh pasta.
For the store renovation, the Client’s needs were to have custom-made “work counters” and high-performance refrigerated display units, specifically designed to keep the prepared products in optimal conditions (considering that two sides of the refrigerated display cases would be positioned facing the street).
Additionally, the request was to maximize the available display space (while avoiding issues such as obstructing internal air circulation and preventing condensation on the glass) and to enhance the presentation of the displayed goods using design-focused glass structures and the integration of dedicated LED lighting.
Supported by an architectural firm that coordinated all the work on behalf of the client, we were able to identify the right solutions. These were developed from a shared analysis of sales objectives and the working habits of Agnoletto. As a result, we proposed custom-made CHICAGO model display cases with a 90° open corner (one with a refrigeration system specifically for meat, the other with a refrigeration system tailored for fresh pasta), a NETTUNO model mural unit with increased depth and an integrated refrigerated storage underneath, a VENERE model wall unit with special dimensions and an enhanced evaporator, and finally, a series of stainless steel elements to complete the furnishings.
After the store’s reopening, the Client evaluated the result very positively. He achieved high product quality standards even after several hours of display (the food maintained its freshness and flavor), presenting it in sleek, minimalist glass display cases that were also highly appreciated by his customers. Furthermore, his work was simplified thanks to the stainless steel accessories placed in appropriate spaces and ergonomically functional counter measurements.
